Credits

Understand how credits work. Track usage, view transactions, and manage your credit balance.

Overview

Credits are the currency for AI-powered operations in WallJobs AI. They're consumed when you use features that require AI processing, external data lookups, or automated communication.

Key points:

  • Credits are included in your subscription plan
  • Paid plans receive credits at the beginning of each billing cycle
  • Credits are cumulative and never expire
  • Additional credits can be purchased as needed
  • All workspaces share the same credit pool

How Credits Work

Your credit balance is shared across your entire organization. When any team member uses a credit-consuming feature, it deducts from the shared balance.

The system automatically tracks:

  • Credit balance at any moment
  • Who used credits and for what
  • Which workspace each usage occurred in
  • Historical transaction records
Note
Organization owners and admins can view credit usage by team member and workspace to understand consumption patterns.

Credit Costs

Different operations have different credit costs:

OperationCreditsNotes
AI Search7Per candidate found in search results
Contact Enrichment (Email)2Per email address found
Contact Enrichment (Phone)14Per phone number found
Full Enrichment (Email + Phone)16Complete contact data enrichment
LinkedIn Message (Automation)25Per automated LinkedIn message
Note
Email sequences, WhatsApp messages (via your account), and AI Co-Pilot interactions do not consume credits.

Free Operations

These operations don't consume credits:

  • Viewing contacts and profiles
  • Managing shortlists (add, move, remove candidates)
  • Filtering and sorting search results
  • Creating and editing sequences (only sending costs)
  • Adding notes and comments
  • Team member management
  • Workspace configuration

Checking Your Balance

View your current credit balance in several places:

  • Sidebar - Credit counter shown at the bottom of the sidebar
  • Settings → Billing - Detailed balance and usage information
  • Before actions - Cost shown before credit-consuming operations

Low Balance Notifications

WallJobs AI sends notifications when your credits are running low:

  • In-app notification at 20% remaining
  • Email to organization owner at 10% remaining
  • Final warning at 5% remaining
Zero Balance
When credits reach zero, credit-consuming features are temporarily disabled. You can still access your data and perform free operations. Purchase additional credits or wait for the next billing cycle to resume.

  1. Go to Settings → Billing → Credits
  2. Click Buy More Credits
  3. Select a credit pack size

  1. Go to Settings → Billing → Credits
  2. Click View History
  3. Filter by date, user, workspace, or operation type
  4. Export transactions for reporting

Each transaction record includes:

  • Date and time
  • Operation type (search, enrichment, etc.)
  • Credits consumed
  • User who performed the action
  • Workspace where it occurred
  • Running balance after transaction

Optimizing Credit Usage

Get the most value from your credits:

  • Refine search terms - More specific searches yield better results, reducing the need for multiple searches.
  • Use filters on results - Filter and sort existing results (free) before running new searches.
  • Batch enrichment - Enrich only candidates you're seriously considering, not entire search results.
  • Save successful searches - Rerun saved searches (same results, no cost) instead of creating new ones.
  • Monitor team usage - Use the transaction history to identify inefficient usage patterns.
